The workshop
A country workshop that picks up the phone.
Horrocks Automotive works out of the black shed on Old Port Wakefield Road at Two Wells, five minutes off the highway and a long way from a franchise service desk. Brad and the team look after everything from a first logbook service on a near new car to the older ute that has to keep going another season.
It is a proper workshop rather than a quick fit counter. Cars go up on the hoist, faults get diagnosed instead of guessed at, and you get told what actually needs doing and what can safely wait. Customers keep writing the same two things in their reviews: nothing gets recommended that does not need doing, and people get squeezed in when they are stuck.
We are an MTA member and the RAA Road Service contractor for the area, with RAA batteries kept here in the workshop and Penrite oils on the shelf.

What we do
Everything on the sign out the front.
One workshop for the servicing, the repairs, the tyres and the caravan, so the car does not have to go to three different places in the same week.
Inspections and diagnostics
Warning light on, noise you cannot place, something that only happens when it is cold. We plug in, we drive it, we tell you what it actually is.
Mechanical repairs
General repairs across the whole car, from the small jobs that have been on your list for months to the ones that stopped you this morning.
Brake services and repairs
Pads, discs, fluid and handbrakes. Brakes are the one thing on a car nobody should be putting off until next time.
Tyres and tyre repairs
New tyres fitted and balanced, punctures plugged, and the odd roadside one sorted the same day.
Battery sales
RAA batteries kept here in the workshop, tested and fitted while you wait rather than ordered in next week.
Caravans and trailers
Bearings, brakes, lights and couplings looked over before you tow it anywhere. Worth doing before the long weekend, not after.
RAA road service
We are the RAA Road Service contractor here, so if you are stuck on Port Wakefield Road it is often our van that turns up.

When it will not start, we come to you.
Horrocks Automotive is the RAA Road Service contractor here, so a breakdown call around Two Wells usually means our van. Flat battery, flat tyre, will not turn over, or the wrong fuel in the tank on a Friday afternoon. We get to you, sort what can be sorted on the roadside, and tow the rest back to the workshop.

I'd been talking with my friend Carol Rosier who had told me the Horrocks Automotive were really great. I had the chance to put them to the test last Friday when I accidentally filled my diesel car with unleaded very close to 5pm. They waited for the RAA to pick my car and deliver it to them. This is not the first time I've done this unfortunately my car has taken over a week to be done. Horrocks rang me this morning to pick up my car. Lovely friendly people, great price and the job done quickly. Highly recommend people in the area to support this great little business.

This is one of the best mechanics ive found for diagnostics and immediate assistance. Talk about squeezing me in. Theyre brilliant! So so worth it. Affordable, clean workshop, friendly staff. And will go above and beyond to help. Cheers guys

Highly recommend the entire team at Horrocks Automotive, have been an enormous help servicing and maintaining my Volvos and Alfa Romeo, they know exactly what they are doing and don't go overcharging or recommending things that don't need to be done.

Massive shout out to Adam the RAA super-hero who rescued me from Port Wakefield Road in my seriously no-longer-working Cruze today. Adam arrived, assessed the critical motor situation immediately and then went to get the tow truck back to Two Wells. He loaded my beloved car with the skill of a Zen master. I also got an insight into Brad's business, and their commitment to excellence. Adam's efficient action oriented solutions were just what I needed.
